Star Warriors is an 8 week series where kids will learn about a new Star Warrior from the Bible each week. Each of the Star Warriors had to trust God to help them accomplish amazing missions for him. Star Warriors include Nehemiah, Deborah, Elijah, Elisha, Jael, King Josiah, and Gideon.

Week 1
Star Warrior – Nehemiah
Bible Story – Nehemiah Rebuilds the Wall (Nehemiah 1-6)

Weekly Verse – “But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3 NLT)

Week 2
Star Warrior – Deborah
Bible Story – Deborah, the Judge (Judges 4:1-16)
Today’s Takeaway – When I ignore God, He will use someone else.
Weekly Verse – “And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8 NLT)

Week 3
Star Warrior – Jael
Bible Story – Jael Takes the Victory (Judges 4:17-24)
Today’s Takeaway – God can use anyone at any time!
Weekly Verse – “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” (Philippians 2:13 NLT)

Week 4
Star Warrior – Elijah
Bible Story – God Provides for Elijah (1 Kings 16:29-17:16)
Today’s Takeaway – When I trust God, He will take care of me.
Weekly Verse – “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:33 NLT)

Week 5
Star Warrior – Elijah
Bible Story – God Proves He is God (1 Kings 18:1-39)

Week 6
Star Warrior – Elijah and Elisha
Bible Story – Elisha Passes His Cloak (2 Kings 2:1-15)
Today’s Takeaway – God wants me to make disciples for Him.

Week 7
Star Warrior – King Josiah
Bible Story – Josiah Leads by Example (2 Kings 22:1-23:25)

Week 8
Star Warrior – Gideon
