About JumpStart3
What is JumpStart3?
JumpStart3 is high-energy kids’ worship music that helps children memorize Scripture. Each song sets a Bible verse to modern, catchy music and pairs it with hand motions, so kids learn God’s Word by singing, watching and moving.
Who started JumpStart3?
JumpStart3 was started by Jeff McCullough, a record producer who used to make music for Disney. Today he calls himself a “musicianary,” using modern musical styles to get Scripture to kids who hear very few positive messages. Read our story.
What ages is JumpStart3 for?
Kids of all ages sing along, including preschoolers, and adults usually end up joining in too. Our events are often just as much fun for the “big kids” as for the little ones.
Which Bible translation do you use?
Most of our English Scripture songs use the New International Version (NIV), and our Spanish songs use the Nueva Versión Internacional (NVI). Each product page lists the verse and translation used in that song.
Why do the songs have hand motions?
Kids learn in different ways. Combining singing (hearing), lyric videos (seeing) and hand motions (moving) helps Bible verses stick. Along the way, kids also learn dozens of American Sign Language (ASL) words.
Do you have songs in Spanish?
Yes. Our first Spanish resource, El Camino, features Scripture songs from the Nueva Versión Internacional (NVI). Spanish songs are available as digital singles and in the Spanish Church Resource Kit.

What is included in a Church Resource Kit?
Most kits include five Scripture songs built around one theme, with lyric videos (vocal and instrumental versions), hand-motion tutorials and demonstrations, MP3 audio (vocal and instrumental mixes), and printable chord charts and lyric sheets. The video files drop right into ProPresenter, MediaShout, EasyWorship, PowerPoint, Keynote and other presentation software. See all church resources.
Do I need a worship band or musicians to use JumpStart3?
No. Every song comes with lyric videos and audio tracks, plus hand-motion tutorials so your leaders can learn the moves ahead of time. Remember: videos don’t lead worship, people do! Have fun, and your kids will follow your example.
Can we use JumpStart3 songs at our church, school or camp?
Yes. When you buy one song or a whole bundle, you receive a license to use it in person at your church, school or camp. The songs and videos are copyrighted, so they may not be uploaded online or copied and shared with others.
Can we use JumpStart3 in our livestream or online services?
Yes, with our Annual Streaming Master Use License. It gives churches, schools, camps and other nonprofit groups a legal way to use the JumpStart3 songs and videos they have purchased in online and streamed services. The license does not include any music, so the songs are purchased separately.
Can I buy just one song?
Yes. Individual Scripture songs are available as digital singles, so you can pick the exact verse you are teaching. Themed kits and mega bundles give you the most songs for your budget.
Can you write a custom theme song for our ministry?
Yes. Our creative team writes and produces custom theme songs for kids’ ministries, youth ministries and churches, with packages for audio only or audio plus a lyric video. Learn about custom theme songs.

What JumpStart3 resources are there for families?
The JumpStart3 Family Scripture Memory System gives families hand-motion tutorial videos plus audio to sing along with at home or in the car. It comes in bundles from 20 songs up to a 70-song mega bundle. Shop family resources.
Do you have Christmas music for kids?
Yes. A Not So Silent Night has seven Christmas songs with traditional melodies and a modern, high-energy JumpStart3 sound, including Silent Night, Little Drummer Boy, What Child Is This and Isaiah 9:6 (For Unto Us). Are your products digital downloads or shipped?
Most of our songs and resources are digital downloads, and no discs are shipped for those items. Some products, such as CDs, USB resource kits and shirts, are physical items that we ship.
